Wheatbelt Business Network
The Wheatbelt Futures Forum is a collaboration between the Northam Chamber of Commerce and the Wheatbelt Business Network, with the Wheatbelt Development Commission and the local councils in it too. It started in 2023. Every May it brings government, business, and the region's advocates into the one room. The shared job is to help businesses grow what the Wheatbelt can offer. We filmed one of the organisers talking through it. The forum is one room, once a year. The film is how that room can be shown to someone who was not in Northam in May.
Talking head and B-roll.

The work
The forums have grown since the first one, and they are drawing attention. The people running it say that growth is starting to drive change. The next date is still to be announced. The film leaves that claim in the organisers' words, and leaves the next date open until it is set.
