Commercial photography in Perth

Commercial photography in Perth is product and brand stills, plus the behind-the-scenes frames if we are already there filming. The pictures are for a site, a brochure, or a pitch. We shoot across Greater Perth.

What commercial photography covers

Commercial photography is the set a business uses when it needs to look like itself on paper and on a screen. A workshop, a showroom, a product on a bench, a team in the place they actually work. We plan the shots around how you will use them, then spend the day making those pictures. What you receive is finished. You are not left with a card of near-misses to sort on a Sunday.

Apply to work with us

We don't work with everyone. Before anyone books a shoot, they go through an application and onboarding process, because the work only lands properly when the fit is right. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two people in conversation at a Perth event.

The fit call

We work out whether we're right for each other. We're looking for ambitious people who want to grow and aren't afraid to put themselves out there, and clients who want an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off shoot. Retainers are where the results actually show up, because content compounds.

02

The goals call

This is where we get into your business. What you're trying to achieve, what success looks like, what the content needs to do. It's also where you get to know us. By the time we're pointing a camera at you, we're not strangers, and that's most of the reason people look comfortable in our footage.

The set up

You get permission to be imperfect. We send through the shot list, then run a brainstorming session on what we're recording and the strategy behind it. If you'd rather be directed live on the day, we can do that instead.

Filming day

Coaching and refining. My job is to make you feel comfortable and to keep pulling until the message is clear. My rule is simple: if it's unclear to me, it's unclear to the viewer. Nothing gets shot without a reason behind it.

How a job runs

Once you're in.

01

Chat

We talk about the pictures a client or a customer needs to see before they will take the next step.

If the picture has to convince someone who has never visited, tell us what they are unsure about. We will photograph that.

Plan

A shot list tied to the pages and the posts those pictures will fill, so every setup has a job.

Every setup is tied to a page or a post, so each frame has a place to live when the day is over.

Create

We photograph the place and the work, with the light and the framing the end use actually needs.

We light it for the way the picture will be used, whether that is a wide page or a tight crop on a phone.

Questions about commercial photography

How much does commercial photography cost?

Every shoot is quoted after we know which pages and posts the pictures have to fill. There is no set price on this page.

What are the pictures for?

A site, a brochure, or a pitch. If we are already there filming, the behind-the-scenes frames can be part of the same day.

Where do you shoot?

On location across Greater Perth. Past product and brand stills have also been made for Wheatbelt businesses. Travel outside Greater Perth is part of the first conversation.

What do you get back?

The edited photographs, named so you can find the one you want when you are building the page.

Let’s Work Together

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us where your business is at, and we’ll tell you honestly what kind of content will move the needle.
