Website, Squarespace and analytics

Our website is hosted on Squarespace. When you visit the site or submit a form, Squarespace and related tools may process data on our behalf (for example form delivery, hosting logs and optional analytics).

If analytics or cookies are enabled on the site, they help us understand traffic and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. For details of how Squarespace processes data, see Squarespace's own privacy documentation.

Form submissions are used to contact you about your enquiry. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed for the enquiry, the project, or our legal record-keeping.

Who we share information with

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run the business — for example website hosting (Squarespace), email providers, cloud storage, accounting tools, or contractors engaged on a project — only where needed for those services.

Some providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in a way that is consistent with the APPs.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us straight away.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law (for example tax and business records). When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

Under the Privacy Act, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details above. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): www.oaic.gov.au

Paste-in tips for Squarespace:

  • Page hero (dark section): eyebrow "Legal", H1 "Privacy Policy", one line: How we collect, use and look after your personal information. Then the body above goes in the Warm Greige section as one text block.

  • Make "growthconceptmedia@gmail.com" a mailto link, the phone a tel link, and www.oaic.gov.au an external link.

  • The bold lead-ins in the bullet lists ("Identity and contact details —") are intentional — keep the bold so the lists scan.

  • Update the "Last updated" date to whenever you actually publish.
