Aerial videography in Perth

Aerial videography in Perth is drone video for a brand film, an event, or a site that only makes sense from above. We check we can fly the location before the camera goes up. There is no standalone aerial job on the site yet. We work across Greater Perth.

What aerial videography covers

Aerial work is for the view you cannot get from the ground. A property, a development, a farm, an event seen from above. We fly where we are allowed to, and we plan the shots around what the picture has to show: the boundary, the building, the way a site sits in its street. You get stills, and a short moving shot when the job needs one. The permissions are sorted before the day, so the flight itself can stay simple.

Apply to work with us

We don't work with everyone. Before anyone books a shoot, they go through an application and onboarding process, because the work only lands properly when the fit is right. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two people in conversation at a Perth event.

The fit call

We work out whether we're right for each other. We're looking for ambitious people who want to grow and aren't afraid to put themselves out there, and clients who want an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off shoot. Retainers are where the results actually show up, because content compounds.

The goals call

This is where we get into your business. What you're trying to achieve, what success looks like, what the content needs to do. It's also where you get to know us. By the time we're pointing a camera at you, we're not strangers, and that's most of the reason people look comfortable in our footage.

The set up

You get permission to be imperfect. We send through the shot list, then run a brainstorming session on what we're recording and the strategy behind it. If you'd rather be directed live on the day, we can do that instead.

Filming day

Coaching and refining. My job is to make you feel comfortable and to keep pulling until the message is clear. My rule is simple: if it's unclear to me, it's unclear to the viewer. Nothing gets shot without a reason behind it.

How a job runs

Once you're in.

01

Chat

We talk about the site, what the picture has to show, and whether you need stills, a moving shot, or both.

If you need the building, the block, or the whole site in one frame, say which. The height of the shot follows from that.

Still. To come.

02

Plan

The location, the time of day, the shots, and the permissions the flight needs before anyone leaves the ground.

The flight is booked around the light and the permissions, so the paperwork is done before we drive out.

Still. To come.

03

Create

On the day we fly the list and watch the light, working through the shots while the weather holds.

We fly the list while the weather holds, and we land if the light or the wind turns.

Still. To come.

04

Deliver

The stills and any short moving shots, graded and ready to drop into a listing, a pitch, or a site.

The stills and any short moving shots arrive graded, ready for a listing or a pitch.

Still. To come.

Questions about aerial videography

How much does aerial videography cost?

Every flight is quoted after we know the location and whether we can fly it. There is no set price on this page.

Do you always fly?

We check we can fly the location before the camera goes up. If the site cannot be flown, we say so before the day.

Where do you fly?

Across Greater Perth, when the location allows it. Past ground jobs have been in the Wheatbelt as well. A flight outside Greater Perth depends on the location and is part of the first conversation.

Is there a finished aerial film on the site?

Not yet. There is no standalone aerial job on the site. Aerial is usually part of a brand film, an event, or a site film.
