Who we are
Keoni Upton films in Perth and hosts The Growth Concept. Growth Concept Media is the company he built for people who want to be understood before the first call.
He grew up with dyslexia, and school was a hard place to find his footing. The shifts that stayed with him came from conversation: a mentor, a friend, someone further along. The podcast keeps those conversations. The company gives a client the same kind of care.
He comes to you. A coffee first, then the shoot, the stills, and the edit, so the day stays easy. A small team finishes the work with him. He is still the one holding the camera.

2023
The idea
He was still on the tools, in hi-vis, when he started reading and paying attention to how other people had built things. He wanted a business of his own. He could not have told you what it sold.
2024
The Growth Concept
The show went up while he was still working full time. Mornings started at 4, with a 12 kilometre run before the shift. He had also started spending his time with people who were further along, and he let the old circle go.
2025
Growth Concept Media
He had started investing, and studying how the market works. A public speaker he met that year is the reason he picked up a camera. He enrolled in a dual diploma in business and marketing, put some money aside, and opened Growth Concept Media. Later that year he took a shock on a job, from a circuit that had no earth. After that, waiting on the next thing felt like a bad idea.
2026
Leaving the job
At the start of the year the week was split across the job, study, the show, and the company, and he was burnt out. He left the job and put the time into Growth Concept Media. Since then he has bought the car he wanted, won his first Muay Thai fight, and taken on more clients.
Now
Perth, come to you
There is no studio to visit. Keoni comes to the client, anywhere around Perth, and films where the work already happens. The room is part of the story.
He starts with a conversation, usually over coffee, so the point of the film is clear before the camera is on. Then the shoot, the stills, and the edit, fitted into the day rather than taking it over.
