Editing

Video editing in Perth

Video editing in Perth starts with footage you already have. A talk you filmed on your phone, a shoot we did together, or a folder that never quite got finished. You get captions, colour and a clean soundtrack, in a length someone will actually watch.

What video editing covers

Most of this page is about finishing something that already exists. A keynote, a client interview, a day on site, a batch of vertical clips. We cut the main piece, then the shorter versions that sit around it, with captions and colour so it can go on social and on your site. If we filmed it, the edit is part of that job. If you filmed it, send the files and we start from there. The tidy-up lives here too, when a cut is close and still needs another pass before it can be published.

Apply to work with us

We don't work with everyone. Before anyone books a shoot, they go through an application and onboarding process, because the work only lands properly when the fit is right. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two people in conversation at a Perth event.

The fit call

We work out whether we're right for each other. We're looking for ambitious people who want to grow and aren't afraid to put themselves out there, and clients who want an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off shoot. Retainers are where the results actually show up, because content compounds.

02

Two people at a table with notes, talking through a plan.

The goals call

This is where we get into your business. What you're trying to achieve, what success looks like, what the content needs to do. It's also where you get to know us. By the time we're pointing a camera at you, we're not strangers, and that's most of the reason people look comfortable in our footage.

The set up

You get permission to be imperfect. We send through the shot list, then run a brainstorming session on what we're recording and the strategy behind it. If you'd rather be directed live on the day, we can do that instead.

Filming day

Coaching and refining. My job is to make you feel comfortable and to keep pulling until the message is clear. My rule is simple: if it's unclear to me, it's unclear to the viewer. Nothing gets shot without a reason behind it.

How a job runs

Once you're in.

01

Chat

We start with the files, or with a link to them. What you shot, how long it runs, and what you need it to do once people can see it.

If there are moments you already want in, or moments you want left out, say so here. It keeps the first cut pointed at the thing you actually care about.

02

Plan

We agree the length, the captions, and where it will sit. A two-minute film for your site and a thirty-second reel are different cuts, even when they come from the same afternoon.

You'll know which versions we're making before the timeline is open, so the first draft is the piece you asked for.

03

Create

Then it's the edit. We pull the story into shape, grade the picture, and write captions that still make sense with the sound off.

The shorter cuts come from the same timeline, so they feel like the same piece, just sized for a different place.

04

Deliver

You get the files sized for the places you named. Social, your website, or both, with the captions already on them.

If a line needs changing after you've watched it, that pass is part of the job. A sentence is easy to fix. A post that doesn't sound like you is harder to take back.

Questions about video editing

How much does video editing cost?

Every edit is quoted after we see the footage and the length you need. There is no set price on this page.

What can you send?

A talk you filmed on your phone, a shoot we did together, or a folder that never quite got finished.

What do you get back?

Captions, colour and a clean soundtrack, in a length someone will actually watch.

Do I need to be in Perth?

The edit itself does not need a location. Filming, when we do it, is across Greater Perth, and past shoots have also been in the Wheatbelt.

Let’s Work Together

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us where your business is at, and we’ll tell you honestly what kind of content will move the needle.
