What event video production covers
Event coverage means being there for the program and coming away with something the host can use. We film the talks and the feeling of the room, and we photograph the day alongside that. Afterwards there is a recap, the individual talks if you want them kept, and a set of stills. It is made for the invitation to the next one, and for the people who spoke. We read the run sheet before we arrive, so we are in the right spot when the useful moment happens.

Brief
We talk through the program, the speakers, and what you want to be able to post in the week after the room has emptied.
If one session matters more than the others, say so before the day. We will be in the room for that one.
In the room

Cover
On the day we are in the room. The stage, the crowd, the conversations in the break. Close enough to catch them, quiet enough that the program still belongs to the people who came.
We stay for the breaks as well as the talks. A lot of what is worth keeping happens when nobody is on the mic.
Filming the day

Cut
A highlight of the day, plus the shorter clips, cut so they feel like the room and not like a trailer for a different event.
You will see a cut of the day while it is still fresh, while a speaker's line is still the line people remember.
On the monitor

Deliver
Files ready to post, to share with the speakers, and to reuse when you invite people to the next one.
Speakers can take their own clips, and you can keep the highlight for the next time you fill the room.
