Film production in Perth

Film production in Perth is one film for the top of the site, planned before the shoot and cut so it can sit there on its own. If you also need a shorter cut, it comes from the same footage. We work across Greater Perth.

What film production covers

A branded film is the one you point people to. It can introduce a company, mark a year, or hold a story you want told with more care than a promo. We work out the tone with you first, then film and cut to that. Music, pace, and the way people speak all have to belong to the same business. When it is done, it should be something you are happy to send to a client you have not met.

Apply to work with us

We don't work with everyone. Before anyone books a shoot, they go through an application and onboarding process, because the work only lands properly when the fit is right. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two people in conversation at a Perth event.

The fit call

We work out whether we're right for each other. We're looking for ambitious people who want to grow and aren't afraid to put themselves out there, and clients who want an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off shoot. Retainers are where the results actually show up, because content compounds.

02

Two people at a table with notes, talking through a plan.

The goals call

This is where we get into your business. What you're trying to achieve, what success looks like, what the content needs to do. It's also where you get to know us. By the time we're pointing a camera at you, we're not strangers, and that's most of the reason people look comfortable in our footage.

03

The set up

You get permission to be imperfect. We send through the shot list, then run a brainstorming session on what we're recording and the strategy behind it. If you'd rather be directed live on the day, we can do that instead.

Filming day

Coaching and refining. My job is to make you feel comfortable and to keep pulling until the message is clear. My rule is simple: if it's unclear to me, it's unclear to the viewer. Nothing gets shot without a reason behind it.

How a job runs

Once you're in.

01

Chat

We talk about the feeling the film should leave, and the facts it still has to include so it is useful as well as watchable.

Bring one film you already like the feeling of. It is easier to aim at a reference than to describe a mood from scratch.

02

Plan

The scenes, the people, and the order of the story, agreed before anyone is on camera.

The order of the story is written down, so the day is spent getting those scenes.

03

Create

Filming with that plan in hand, so the day produces the pictures the cut actually needs.

If a scene on the list needs another pass, we do it while we are still on location.

04

Deliver

The film, and a shorter cut if you want the same story to live in a feed as well.

The short cut uses the same pictures as the film, so the feed and the full piece feel like one story.

Questions about film production

How much does film production cost?

Every film is quoted after we agree the story. There is no set price on this page.

What do you get?

The film for the top of the site, and a shorter cut from the same footage if you want the story in a feed as well.

Where do you film?

Across Greater Perth. Past films have also been made in the Wheatbelt, including Northam. Whether a job outside Greater Perth can happen is part of the first conversation.

Can I see one?

Circle Leadership, with Dave Clare, is on the work page.

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us where your business is at, and we’ll tell you honestly what kind of content will move the needle.
