Todd Wood found out on a Sunday morning, sitting in the car on the way to see his mum, when Marcus Preece rang. The draw had come up with his name. The prize was a new MG ZS, which he had already been reading about, and which turned out better in the metal than it had looked in the photos. Attree Real Estate, the agency in Southern River, had entered every seller who listed a home with them between May and August 2026, so long as the property was live on the portals and the marketing had been paid. One hundred and fifteen people were in the barrel. The name was drawn on 20 September, and Todd was the one who got the call.

Nathan Want, a director and the licensee at Attree, talks about the giveaway as the agency's way of giving something back to the people who trusted them with a sale. He thinks the whole thing worked, and he is already talking about running another one. Todd's thanks sit with the sale that got him into the draw in the first place. He and his former wife had Marcus sell the house, quickly and for a price they were happy with, and he wanted the rest of the Attree team thanked on camera as well. Marcus is a property consultant at the agency. In the film he introduces himself as a sales partner, which is the part of the job Todd is actually thanking him for.
