Podcast production in Perth

Podcast production in Perth is for hosts and businesses. We film on location across Greater Perth, then edit, upload, and cut the clips that go with the episode. Show notes are part of the same job.

What podcast production covers

A show is a regular piece of work, so this page covers the recording and everything that has to happen after you stop talking. We set up on location, record the conversation, and take it through the edit. You get the episode ready to publish, the show notes, and the short clips for social. If you already have a format, we work inside it. If you are starting, the first chat is where we decide how long an episode should be and who it is for.

Apply to work with us

We don't work with everyone. Before anyone books a shoot, they go through an application and onboarding process, because the work only lands properly when the fit is right. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two people in conversation at a Perth event.

The fit call

We work out whether we're right for each other. We're looking for ambitious people who want to grow and aren't afraid to put themselves out there, and clients who want an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off shoot. Retainers are where the results actually show up, because content compounds.

02

Two people at a table with notes, talking through a plan.

The goals call

This is where we get into your business. What you're trying to achieve, what success looks like, what the content needs to do. It's also where you get to know us. By the time we're pointing a camera at you, we're not strangers, and that's most of the reason people look comfortable in our footage.

The set up

You get permission to be imperfect. We send through the shot list, then run a brainstorming session on what we're recording and the strategy behind it. If you'd rather be directed live on the day, we can do that instead.

Filming day

Coaching and refining. My job is to make you feel comfortable and to keep pulling until the message is clear. My rule is simple: if it's unclear to me, it's unclear to the viewer. Nothing gets shot without a reason behind it.

How a job runs

Once you're in.

01

Chat

We talk about the show, the next guest, and the person you hope will listen all the way through.

If you already know the guest and the point of the episode, bring that. It saves us designing a conversation you have already had in your head.

Plan

The questions, the length, and how the recording day will run, including where we set up and how long we have the room.

You will know the shape of the day before we arrive, including how long the guest is sitting down for.

03

Create

We film on location. The episode is the main piece, and the clips come out of the same conversation once the long cut is clear.

We record the conversation properly, then pull the clips from the same tapes so they sound like the episode.

04

Deliver

You get the edit, the upload, the show notes, and the social clips, handed over together so the episode can go out.

If a name or a line needs fixing after you have watched it, that pass is part of getting the episode out.

Questions about podcast production

How much does podcast production cost?

Every show is quoted after the first conversation. The episode length and how many clips you need change the job, so there is no set price on this page.

What is included?

On-location filming, the edit, the upload, the clips that go with the episode, and show notes.

Where do you record?

On location across Greater Perth. Past episodes and films have also been made in the Wheatbelt. Whether we can come further is part of the first conversation.

Can I see a finished show?

How To Be Happy is on the work page: three short films for Declan Edwards.

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us where your business is at, and we’ll tell you honestly what kind of content will move the needle.
